Cleda B. Duffy, 79 of Hunt City, Illinois died Monday, April 29, 2002 at 8:20 P.M. at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Cleda was born March 5, 1923 in Hunt City, Illinois and was the daughter of Floyd and Fern (Harrison) Biggs. On February 1, l956 she married John Duffy , he survives. Cleda was a homemaker and a member of the Hunt City Christian Church, Hunt City, Illinois and the Jasper County Home Extension. Her hobbies included writing poetry and painting.

Cleda is survived by her husband, John, 2 Daughters and Son-In-Law: Carol & David Ferguson, and Diana Haddox. 6 Grandchildren: Ceretta Weber, John Ferguson, Joanna McCoy, Debra Wheeler, Jamie Haddox & James Haddox and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Cleda is preceded in death by her parents and 1 Son-In-Law: James Haddox.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, May 2, 2002 at Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, IL with Bro. Randy Nave and Phil Boyd officiating. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M.

on Wednesday, May 1, 2002 and Thursday morning until time of Service. Burial will be at the Oblong Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hunt City Christian Church with envelopes available at the funeral home in Oblong.
